Vers iPod dock/Digital Radio/Alarm (USA)

This Digital Radio/Alarm is designed to be a true 'hybrid': great as a bedside alarm, even better in the kitchen, den or office... anywhere great sound belongs. The 1.5R is a compact AM/FM sound system for iPod with an unreal full, rich sound.

Vers was born out of contempt at the sea of inexpensive, look-alike plastic units with 'good enough' sound quality and inefficient electronics, low cost manufacturing choices and un-recyclable packaging materials.


Each Walnut cabinet is crafted by hand, and takes over a week to build. The 15W full range speaker puts an amazing level of acoustic power in a very small space. Dual alarm, sleep timer, favorites station settings allow the 1.5R to be customized to fit your needs. Vers pursue environmental sustainability by selecting low-power components to little things, like eliminating twist ties. Vers are passionate about making a difference where ever possible, large or small.

Green
The Walnut used in the cabinet comes from sustainably managed family-owned mills. No threatened, endangered or tropical woods are used in any Vers products. Additionally, for every tree used in production, Vers plant 100 through their long-time partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, a respected 40+ year old organization dedicated to supporting, among many other things, the reforestation and habitat-rebuilding efforts of the the US Forest Service. Harvest a tree, plant a forest - it doesn't get more renewable than that.
 
The entire product and its components, along with the packaging, have been carefully designed to keep energy and waste to a minimum.
